This wiki is a place for members of CSAIL to exchange ideas---not about our work, but about how we work together. It was created in August 2021 as part of a CSAIL culture effort.
To access it, you'll need a CSAIL email account (so that your email address has the form someone@csail.mit.edu).
To log in or create an account, just click on the face icon on the upper right. If you don't have an account yet, register using your CSAIL email address as your username, and you'll get a confirmation email and will then be able to log in.
This wiki is a resource for the CSAIL community to share useful information, and to discuss issues of lab culture: how we work together, what expectations we have of each other, and ideas for making CSAIL a place where we not only feel inspired and intellectually stimulated, but also welcome and valued.
This is an experiment, and how it evolves depends on you, the members of CSAIL. We hope that everyone will feel encouraged to participate in creating and discussing material in this wiki, however long they've been at CSAIL, and whatever role they play (student, researcher, faculty or staff).
This wiki is a project that emerged from a year-long study of CSAIL culture by the CSAIL Ahead Team. The team's report and initiatives are included in this site in the hope that CSAIL members will read them, comment on them and help us evolve them.
